TPL: Law at the Library

Library programming is probably one of my favourite area of focus [there will be longer/more opinionated posts about programs soon]. I find TPL’s Law at the Library such a smart idea. Although the series is more geared towards the layman, a friend of mine who practices immigrant law in Toronto was excited by prospects of attending some of classes when I told her about it.  Sometimes professionals need refreshers in areas that they don’t usually deal with…just as people in general should also be aware the laws and regulations that affect them.
